Sara and Justin Kraft - May 22, 2018
It is interesting that while it is necessary for the propagation of the human species that vast majority of mankind is called to live in the married state, only a select few of the canonized saints were married and it is even rarer to find canonized spouses. This begs the question, why are there so few married couples who are saints? -

But how does this work? What is protected from error and what is not? Increase Your Joy in Your Work Day with These Prayers
Maureen Dillon - May 1, 2018
Today is the feast of St. Joseph the Worker. It can be challenging to view work as a blessing in our lives. It may be stressful. It often takes us away from spending time with our friends and family or other activities that we rather be doing. It can be difficult not to view work as a punishment from God for Adam and Eve's original sin. However, if we understand human nature and man's relationship with God and with creation rightly, the opportunity and ability to work is a great and... -
Do You Want Greater Knowledge of Christ?
W. P. Bennett - Apr 26, 2018
St. Jerome, a Doctor of the Church, once quipped that “ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ.” This is very true, and it is very true in its inverse--knowledge of scripture is knowledge of Christ. Today I hope to share with you a technique that will help you use the scriptures as a basis of prayer and study to grow in the realization and knowledge of being in a relationship with the incarnate God, Jesus Christ, who dwells within us and thus to grow in our... -

Mary M. Dillon - Apr 24, 2018
Sometimes a casual glance at the lives of the Saints can discourage us--make us feel as though sanctity is not something meant for us. We may feel that we are not naturally holy or pure and that must mean that we are not called to be Saints. But God calls all of us to sanctity. He calls all of us to relationship with him and to service of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Here is some inspiration from spiritual reading and the Saints to remind each of us that God desires to make us great... -

Maureen Dillon - Apr 19, 2018
Poetry and prayer share alot in common. The rhythms and imagery of the Psalms evoke a whole variety of emotions and express such natural human desire to describe and understand truth in the context of our own world and experiences. Some poetry is written intentionally as a prayer and some is written as such an honest observation of truth and beauty that for many readers it becomes prayful.
